Beyond the Rack signs New York lease with Handler Real Estate
New York - Online retailer Beyond the Rack has signed a long-term, 3,944-sq.-ft. lease at 561 Seventh Avenue, which will serve as the firm’s U.S. headquarters, with Handler Real Estate Organization. The tenant, relocating from the Bryant Park area, will occupy the entire third floor at 561 7th Avenue in December, pending build-out of the space.
Situated at the northeast corner of West 40th Street and Broadway, the nearly 100% leased 561 Seventh Avenue is an 81,214-sq.-ft. office tower with 24-hour/7-day access, an attended lobby, and on-site security. London-based sushi and bento restaurant Wasabi is the anchor retail tenant on the ground floor. Handler principal and CEO Scott Galin, along with executive VP Richard Farley, represented the landlord in-house.
