Best Buy relocating Baltimore-area store

Minneapolis Best Buy Co. said Friday it is moving into the Chesapeake Square shopping center in Glen Burnie, Md., and is slated to open the relocated store in January.

According to a report by the Baltimore Business Journal, the retailer signed a lease this week for 40,000 sq. ft. in the shopping center for 10 years with options to extend the lease, taking over the space from a Mars supermarket.

Best Buy has 13 locations in Greater Baltimore. It's currently located in another retail center nearby.
