Best Buy opens more mobile-phone stores

Minneapolis Best Buy Co. will open a Best Buy Mobile store at Maplewood Mall in Minneapolis, its fifth standalone mobile-phone store in Minnesota.

The company also has Best Buy Mobile stores at the Mall of America, Eden Prairie Center, Burnsville Center and Crossroads Mall in St. Cloud, as well as store-within-a-store locations inside all of the company's full-line retail stores.

Best Buy Mobile’s mall stores offer more than 90 different handsets, service plans and accessories from nine carriers, as well as some other small wireless products. The stores are 1,300 to 3,000 sq. ft.
