Best Buy gets customers connected with AT&T

9/15/2015

Best Buy is looking to keep its customers as connected as possible, with a little help from AT&T.

Starting this month, new AT&T shop-within-a-shops at select Best Buy stores will provide what the two companies are calling a “#ConnectedLife” experience.

In addition to offering smartphones, tablets, wearables and connected car plug-ins, the AT&T shops will provide AT&T’s home security and automation service, known as Digital Life. Coming soon, AT&T plans to demonstrate its nationwide DIRECTV service with in-store 4K TVs.

By the end of 2015, 250 Best Buy locations across the country will have a new AT&T space.

“The shops allow us to offer even better service to our customers, whether they need help with their data plan or understanding how their phone or tablet can better control their increasingly connected life,” said Josh Will, senior category officer of mobile and connected home at Best Buy.
