Bed, Bath & Beyond to open 55 to 60 stores

New York City Bed, Bath & Beyond plans to open approximately 55 to 60 stores across all of its concepts, which include Christmas Tree Shops and Harmon, in fiscal 2010.

The retailer, which announced its plans during its first-quarter conference call, said it will spend $225 million on information technology enhancements, new stores and a store refresh initiative in fiscal 2010.
