Bealls to open at Loop West shopping center

Orlando, Fla. -- Boston-based The Wilder Cos. said that Bealls will open a new department store at Loop West, located in the southern portion of the Orlando, Fla., market.



Loop West, along with adjacent center The Loop, make up an 840,000-sq.-ft. shopping complex housing 14 specialty anchors and 55 shops, services and eateries. Anchors include Kohl’s, J.C. Penney, TJ Maxx, Bed Bath & Beyond, DSW Shoes, Regal Cinema and more.



The new 94,000-sq.-ft. Bealls store will incorporate the latest prototype design featuring a Florida-inspired color scheme, updated store visuals, and contemporary floor and wall treatments.



Opening is planned for late October.



According to Wilder, there are also leases and commitments on the remaining small-shop space, bringing complex occupancy to 100%. The newest leases include Shoe Carnival and Moe’s Southwest Grill, joining a mix of nearly 70 stores including Jared, Tilly’s, Ulta, Aeropostale, Justice, American Eagle, Pac Sun, Pier 1 Imports, Bonefish Grill, Pei Wei Asian Diner, and Chipotle.
