Baskin-Robbins plans new stores in Ga.
Canton, Mass. Baskin-Robbins said Wednesday that is adding 30 new franchised locations that will open across Georgia in Albany, Augusta and Savannah.
The chain is currently seeking franchise candidates who can help it increase its presence across the state. This project is one of several new real estate concepts being launched by Baskin-Robbins. Just outside Boston, the company recently debuted its Cafe 31 model, a high-end ice cream bar.
In addition, it is adding drive-through service to locations that have adequate space. The chain also recently introduced a soft-serve kiosk concept that allows shoppers to serve themselves in malls, sports arenas and airports.
