Arhaus, five other tenants sign on at Easton expansion

Ohio’s hottest furniture retailer is partnering with Ohio’s most storied retail center.

Arhaus has signed a lease for a 17,500-sq.-ft. location at Easton Town Center’s new “Urban District,” a live-work-play addition to the Columbus destination that will add 140,000 sq. ft. of retail and dining, 125,000 sq. ft. of office and 750 residential units.

Five other new tenants were announced, too, by co-developers Georgetown Company, L Brands, and Steiner + Associates: Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce Café & Speakeasy, Pins Mechanical Co., The Beeline, Forbidden Root Restaurant and Brewery, and the Crimson coffee and tea shop.

“The new expansion will offer more of an urban neighborhood look and feel with some of the finest sourced local and national concepts on the market,” said Anne Mastin, Steiner’s executive VP of retail real estate.

Bedford, Ohio-based Arhaus has been finding welcome homes in many new upscale retail centers with a collection crafted for the brand by furniture makers from around the world. It has more than 70 locations in the United States and 10 in Ohio.

Those 750 new apartments at Easton should be well-decorated. A 40,000-sq.-ft. RH Gallery store will anchor the Urban District.
