Cherry Hill, N.J. American Eagle Outfitters Inc. said Thursday it will premier one of its first seven children’s apparel concept stores, 77kids, at Cherry Hill Mall this summer.
77kids by american eagle, geared toward fashion-forward kids ages two to 10, is a first-to-market for the area, and will open in six additional markets this summer. The store features a “Pick Yer Prize” Goodie Bar with prizes and candy, games, and interactive touch screens where kids can play Store DJ, pose for and personalize photos, play digital paper dolls to “try on” 77kids outfits, and enjoy a make-believe world of animated characters in a special mirror.
The store opening at Cherry Hill Mall caps a $200-million complete renaissance of the center, which includes the addition of white-linen restaurants Seasons 52, Maggiano’s Little Italy, The Capital Grille, and California Pizza Kitchen; a new parking deck; the addition of an upscale retail wing; a redesigned and relocated food court now called Cherry Hill Cafes, and extensive interior and exterior renovations.
Additional retailers will be announced throughout 2010.
Cherry Hill Mall is owned and managed by Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT).
