Amazon expands its 4-star store concept
Amazon has opened the second location of its newest brick-and-mortar format.
Amazon 4-star has opened at Park Meadows mall, in Lone Tree, Col., reported The Denver Post. The online giant introduced the concept in September, in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood. The location only sells items with a rating above four stars on Amazon.com, as well as new trending items and best-sellers.
The 4,000-sq.-ft. Denver-area location features some items that the New York outpost does not carry, including top-selling sports and outdoor items, according to the Denver Post. About one-third of the space is dedicated to consumer electronics.
