Amazon expanding its bookstore format

Amazon continues to quietly grow its bookstore portfolio.



The online giant confirmed it will open an Amazon Books location in Bellevue, Washington — its second in the state and tenth overall — reported ReCode.



The first Amazon Books opened in November 2015, in University Village in Seattle. It has since opened locations in Portland, Oregon, and San Diego, with plans to open stores in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, New Jersey and two in Massachusetts.
