Papa Johns to modernize delivery system through partnership
One of the nation’s largest pizza chains is streamlining its delivery operations.
Papa Johns is teaming up with Deliverect to deploy the Smart Dispatch & Delivery Management platform across all U.S. restaurants by the end of 2027. The platform allows the pizza chain to execute all orders, whether fulfilled by in-house delivery drivers or third-party service partners, through a single, intelligent system that connects every ordering channel, point-of-sale and delivery workflow into a “unified operational delivery orchestration hub.”
Deliverect supports Papa Johns’ delivery operations by intelligently routing orders from all first-party channels to the most appropriate delivery fleet. Depending on the restaurant setup and real-time conditions, orders may be dispatched automatically or manually to in-house drivers, third-party fleets, or a hybrid of both. Deliverect says its technology eliminates unnecessary manual handoffs, while teams gain live visibility into driver assignments, estimated arrival times, and delivery performance metrics.

By leveraging the Deliverect platform, Papa Johns says it will gain full visibility across the order-to-delivery lifecycle, ensuring “reliable fulfillment, operational efficiency and a consistent guest experience at scale.”
"As we continue to prioritize our technology evolution to deliver a better experience for our customers and our in-store team members, one key area of improvement is to optimize and simplify our delivery process,” Kevin Vasconi, chief digital and technology officer at Papa Johns. “Partnering with Deliverect allows us to do exactly that."
The partnership with Deliverect is just Papa Johns’ latest tech move of 2026. Earlier this year, Papa Johns partnered with Par Technology Corporation to deploy the Par POS and Par OPS platforms at its U.S. restaurants to build a “faster, more intelligent and connected” restaurant and digital ordering experience for guests, operators and franchisees.
Through the collaboration, Papa Johns will transition from its legacy on-premise systems to Par’s enterprise solutions. Par POS and Par OPS will bring front-of-house ordering, make-line operations, above-restaurant management, as well as AI-powered labor, inventory and restaurant management on one platform.
Papa Johns is co-headquartered in Atlanta, Ga. and Louisville, Ky., and is the world's third-largest pizza delivery company with more than 6,000 restaurants in approximately 50 countries and territories.
