Pandora operates more than 2,700 concept stores worldwide.

A major jewelry retailer will undergo its CEO transition ahead of schedule.

Pandora’s chief marketing officer Berta de Pablos-Barbier will take the reins of the company as chief executive on Jan. 1, 2026. The move, initially set to complete at the company’s Annual General Meeting in March, will be finalized earlier than planned following a transition from current CEO Alexander Lacik and the appointment of Jennie Farmer as Pandora’s new marketing chief.

Announced in September, Lacik will retire after almost seven years as president and CEO of Pandora. He will remain with the company as special advisor to the board of directors and executive leadership team until the Annual General Meeting on March 11, 2026.

Pablos-Barbier has served as chief marketing officer at Pandora since November 2024. Previously, she served as the president & CEO of champagne brand Moët & Chandon for nearly three and a half years. Her other experience includes high-level roles at food manufacturing giant Mars and apparel and footwear brand Lacoste.

“I am honored to lead Pandora into its next chapter,” said Pablos-Barbier. “Over the past years, we have established a strong brand with a unique position in the market for accessible jewellery. My immediate focus will be to navigate the current market turbulence while gearing up to leverage our untapped opportunities as a full jewelry brand and drive long-term growth. We are building a bigger Pandora.”

Jennie Farmer, currently senior VP of brand experience & channels, will succeed Pablos-Barbier as marketing chief on Jan. 1, 2026. Farmer joined Pandora in January 2025, bringing over 25 years of experience with global luxury and consumer brands. She began her career in Procter & Gamble’s fragrance business, later holding senior roles at De Beers and LVMH. Prior to joining Pandora, she served as chief commercial officer at furniture retailer Oka.

“Pandora is an iconic brand with a heritage of redefining the jewelry industry,” said Farmer. “I look forward to building on the strong direction set by Berta and driving bold, creative marketing that connects with consumers across all our segments and channels.”

Headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Pandora is the world's largest jewelry brand. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries through 6,800 points of sale, including more than 2,700 concept stores.
