Long Island City, N.Y. -- The Yankee Candle Company is working with Michael C. Fina on the design and deployment of Yankee Candle’s employee recognition program.

Michael C. Fina is helping Yankee Candle celebrate their employees’ company achievements and milestones, including service anniversaries, with a dedicated recognition program designed to align with Yankee Candle’s corporate goals and unique work culture.

“As a company that is committed to its customers and continued growth, we realize the importance of fully recognizing each employee’s individual contributions,” said Donna Vance, benefits and administrative services manager, The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. “Michael C. Fina has helped us streamline our employee recognition strategy and implementation. The program is now turnkey to scale with our growth and more effectively delivers on the promise of ‘The World’s Best Loved Employees’.”

The program, which the Yankee Candle human resources team can track through Michael C. Fina’s powerful, Web-based recognition software, includes dedicated award presentations and rewards via an expansive gift catalog and service level gifts that represent a Yankee Candle product or long-time tradition.

Yankee Candle honors 10-year employees with a brick in the sidewalk at the flagship store in Deerfield, Mass. or at the EMEA headquarters in the U.K.

Web-based recognition tools and training for managers also help ensure manager participation and more meaningful workplace celebrations.

Yankee Candle has over 500 company-owned retail stores in the U.S. and Canada.
