Yankee Candle exec leaves company

Deerfield, Mass. A former executive from Bath & Body Works is leaving Yankee Candle Co., where has he spent more than four years.

Yankee Candle said in a recent regulatory filing that Richard Ruffolo, its senior VP brand marketing and innovation, is scheduled to depart the company on Feb. 3.

Ruffolo joined Yankee Candle in September 2005 after leaving Bath & Body Works, where he had worked since 1998. His final job at Bath & Body Works, a subsidiary of Limited Brands, was VP and category leader of the company's True Blue SPA and American Girl businesses.
