Weis Markets Names President, COO

Sunbury, Pa. Weis Markets Inc. said Wednesday it named David J. Hepfinger as its president and COO.

Hepfinger previously spent 32 years at Price Chopper, a Rotterdam, N.Y.-based supermarket company, most recently serving as senior VP of retailing and administration.

Hepfinger replaces Norman S. Rich as president. Rich will continue in his role as the company's chief executive, Weis said.
