Weis Markets adds sustainability specialist

Sunbury, Pa. Weis Markets announced that Patti Olenick, a former long-time state environmental official, has joined Weis Markets as the company's first ever sustainability specialist. She will help the Weiss develop its sustainability and environmental responsibility programs.

Olenick joins the company from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. She has extensive experience in waste management, recycling and composting.
