Walgreens names treasurer

Deerfield, Ill. Walgreens on Thursday announced the appointment of Jason Dubinsky as divisional VP and treasurer.

Dubinsky, 36, will join Walgreens Aug. 24 from The Goldman Sachs Group in Chicago, where he served as VP investment banking in the division’s consumer retail group.

At Walgreens, Dubinsky will oversee all financing, banking and investing activities for the nation’s largest drug store chain. Additionally, he will be responsible for corporate risk management and partnering on investor relations matters.
