Walgreens has senior-level staffing changes

Deerfield Beach, Fla. Walgreens said late Wednesday that three veteran executives of the company’s purchasing department are leaving the company.

According to an article in Drug Store News, Bill Hubbs, divisional VP and general merchandise manager for seasonal and sundry, Arnie Silver, divisional VP and general merchandise manager consumables, and Kathy Steirly, divisional VP and general merchandise manager for beauty, are exiting the company.

According to Walgreens, the departures are not part of a cost-cutting plan.
