Walgreens Adds Three New Execs

Deerfield, Ill. Walgreen Co. announced that it is adding three new executives to its senior-management team.

Bryan Pugh has been named VP, format development. In this position, he will focus on affordable and essential merchandise, including food items, paper products and other consumables.

Colin Watts is joining the team as VP and president, Walgreens Health and Wellness disease management. He will be responsible for developing the business model and strategy for prevention and health management for patients across all Walgreens operating platforms.

Finally, Jeffrey Zavada was named VP and chief sales officer. He will sell health-care services to managed-care organizations and other payors.
