USM to begin HQ construction

Norristown, Pa. USM, formerly US Maintenance, a provider in facilities maintenance and management services, will kick off construction of its new headquarters on Thursday.

Slated to open in July of 2010, the development of the new facility was made possible in part by a grant from the Montgomery County’s Countywide Strategic Economic Development Program.

The new USM location will be about 80,000 sq. ft. and offer various features, including glass-front offices, spacious workstations and green amenities.

USM has committed to creating over 200 jobs in the next five years in the area, with the ultimate goal of hiring up to 500 people in the next five years.
