Urban Outfitters Hires Europe Exec

Philadelphia Urban Outfitters Inc. on Wednesday named James Bidwell managing director of Anthropologie in Europe, a new post created as the apparel retailer eyes expansion there.

Bidwell was formerly the CEO of Visit London, previously known as the London Tourist Board, and has also served as marketing director at U.K. department store operator Selfridges. Bidwell will be based in the company's new London office.
