True Religion names former A&F exec to board

Vernon, Calif. Jeans and clothing retailer True Religion Apparel said Tuesday it has named former Abercrombie & Fitch Co. executive Seth Johnson to its board of directors.

Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lubell said Johnson's experience in growing Abercrombie & Fitch from 30 stores to more than 700 stores would help True Religion with its own growth plans.

Johnson served as Abercrombie & Fitch's COO from 1999 to 2004 and was its CFO from 1992 to 1998.
