Tractor Supply Company announced two management promotions. Benjamin Parrish, Jr. has been promoted to executive VP, general counsel, real estate and construction, and Kurt Barton has been promoted to senior VP, controller.
Parrish will assume leadership responsibilities for the company's Real Estate and Construction department in addition to his previous responsibilities for Compliance, Legal, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Safety and Stewardship.
Parrish joined Tractor Supply in 2010 as senior VP-general counsel and corporate secretary. He will continue to report to Greg Sandfort, president and CEO.
Barton, who has held the position of VP, controller since 2009, will continue to have responsibility for the company's Accounting, Tax, Purchasing and Master Data departments. Barton started out in 1999 as manager, corporate accounting and financial reporting, and served as director, internal audit from 2002 until 2009. Barton will continue to report to Tony Crudele, executive VP and CFO.
