Tony Poma Joins True Religion Apparel as Director of Construction

Tony Poma was appointed director of construction at True Religion Apparel. Poma joins True Religion following a seven-year tenure at International Coffee & Tea as their senior director of Design and Construction where he was instrumental in opening over 500 retail outlets in 16 different countries.

In his new role, Poma will oversee the buildout of all domestic retail outlets, as well as assist on the buildout of international outlets. He will also be responsible for the facilities management of all existing domestic-retail outlets. His immediate priorities are to continue to build a team of seasoned professionals that will be capable of effectively managing the aggressive rollout of multiple retail outlets in the years to come. Additionally, he will be focused on partnering with key outside vendors to assist in this aggressive rollout and not only delivering stores on time but also reducing the buildout costs of the retail outlets.

Poma began his career managing major hospital remodel and reconstruction projects throughout Southern California leading into a natural transition into hospitality and retail for brands such as Jamba Juice, Starbucks, Koo Koo Roo Chicken, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and others across the continental United States. Poma also plays an active role in the industry through his trade memberships and acting as an Advisory Board Member of SPECS since 2003.
