Talbots promotes senior HR exec

Hingham, Mass. The Talbots promoted Ruthanne Russell to senior VP human resources. Russell, who was previously VP human resources, will replace John Fiske, who was recently named chief stores officer.

In her new role, Russell will oversee the company’s human resources functions, including human resources services and management, talent management, diversity and recruiting, organizational design, learning and development, and corporate communications and community relations. She will report directly to company president and CEO Trudy Sullivan.
