SuperValu names merchandising exec

Minneapolis SuperValu said Friday it has named Steve Jungmann as its new executive VP merchandising.

Jungmann, 47, most recently served as senior VP consumer sales and marketing at the Solo Cup Co. in Highland Park, Ill. He will join SuperValu in early February and report to Craig Herkert, CEO and president.
