Starbucks names interim HR exec

Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Co. has named board member Olden Lee as interim executive VP partner resources, to oversee the coffee chain's human-resources strategy after Chet Kuchinad, executive VP partner resources, resigned.

Kuchinad's resignation, which was attributed to a family illness, took effect on April 6. Starbucks said it would begin the search for Kuchinad’s permanent replacement immediately.
