Staples Names Avon President to Board

Framingham, Mass. Staples announced the appointment of Elizabeth Smith, president of Avon Products, to its board of directors.

Smith joined Avon in January 2005 as executive VP and brand president, and was given the additional role of leading Avon North America in September 2005. Smith was named president of Avon Products in September 2007.
