Staples makes executive appointment

Framingham, Mass. Staples on Thursday announced the appointment of Amee Chande as senior VP strategy, responsible for working with senior management to develop all elements of the company’s global strategy. Chande reports to John Mahoney, Staples vice chairman and CFO.

Chande joins Staples from Wal-Mart Stores where she served most recently as VP new business development and previously as VP healthcare strategy and communications.
