Stage Stores Names CFO

Houston, Stage Stores Inc. on Thursday promoted Edward Record to CFO. Record will be responsible for overseeing accounting, internal and external financial reporting, investor relations, strategic and financial planning, risk management, treasury operations and information technology functions.

He previously served as the company’s chief administrative officer.

Record, who will retain his executive VP post, succeeds Michael McCreery. McCreery is becoming the company’s vice chairman and will continue to oversee logistics operations.
