Stage Stores chief honored by global charity

Houston A global charity called Kids in Distressed Situations said Tuesday it will honor Stage Stores’ president and CEO Andrew Hall among its four fashion industry leaders for outstanding philanthropic commitment.

K.I.D.S., in conjunction with Fashion Delivers, will recognize, along with Hall, John Daly, president of Trade Finance CIT Group, Gary Simmons, president and CEO of Gerber Childrenswear, and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, which will receive the Humanitarian Award.

The group will be honored at this year’s annual fund raising gala on Nov. 4 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.
