Square thinks big

San Francisco – Electronic payment provider Square Inc. is thinking big with its latest solution release. Square, traditionally used as a means for small retailers to effectively accept credit and debit card payments, is targeting enterprise needs of larger merchants with the new Employee Management solution.



Employee Management is designed to let users oversee multiple locations, manage employees, and view and act on data across the enterprise from one account. Specific features include sales reports that can be filtered by employee, device or location; importable and customizable item libraries to allow quick store openings; and mobile registers.



In addition, the solution provides customized permission levels for managed system access; timecards, sales and activity tracking by individual employee; and automatic tip reconciliation.
