Signet names new CFO

Hamilton, Bermuda Signet Jewelers said Tuesday that it has appointed Ronald Ristau as CFO, effective June 26.

According to the retailer, Ristau will join Signet on April 15 as CFO Designate and will be based in Akron, Ohio. He succeeds Walker Boyd who retires, as previously announced, on June 25.

Ristau spent 10 years with New York & Co., most recently as president, CFO and director.

Signet operates 1,913 specialty retail jewelry stores, including 1,361 stores in the United States under the Kay Jewelers, Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry, and other regional banners, as well as 552 stores in the United Kingdom.
