Sears names former Wal-Mart exec president of retail services unit
Sears Holdings Corp. said Tuesday it hired a former Wal-Mart executive to lead its retail services division.
James H. Haworth has been named executive VP and president of the company's retail services unit, charged with overseeing growth at the company's stores.
Haworth was most recently chairman, president and CEO of Chia Tai Enterprises International Limited & CP Lotus, a holding company that operated shopping centers in China. He also founded a consulting firm.
Before that, Haworth spent two decades with Wal-Mart Stores, ending as COO and executive VP operations for the Sam's Club unit.
At Sears Holding, Haworth replaces Kevin Holt.
