Sears Hometown & Outlet gets hometown recognition

Hoffman Estates, Ill. - Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores Inc. is getting a little love from its hometown. For the third consecutive year, Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores has been recognized as one of “Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the National Association for Business Resources.



The list highlights companies that deliver and uphold exceptional practices in human resources. Participating companies and their employees were surveyed and evaluated on the workplace environment. Criteria included: compensation, benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives and strategic company performance.
