Sears Holdings Names Exec

Hoffman Estates, Ill. Sears Holdings Corp. said Tuesday it has named Timothy Kasbe as senior VP and CIO.

He replaces Karen A. Austin, who was appointed president of the company's Home Electronics business unit. Austin had previously served as CIO for Sears Holdings since March 2005.

Kasbe was previously CIO of Reliance Retail Ltd., part of a start-up retail chain in India.
