Sears Canada launches online points redemption feature

Toronto -- Sears Financial has launched an online points redemption system for its five million plus card members, making it one of the first major retail loyalty programs in Canada to do so.



Under the program, Sears customers who purchase their products on a Sears Financial credit card earn Sears Club Points that can be redeemed instantly at Sears stores. The new feature allows Sears Financial credit card members to redeem their Sears Club Points online at sears.ca, towards thousands of products across 50 categories, ranging from women's fashions and cosmetics to appliances and furniture and much more.



To take advantage of the new easy-to-use service, card members must go through the standard checkout process on sears.ca and select a Sears Financial credit card as the form of payment. For every 1,000 Sears Club Points redeemed, the card member will receive $10 off their purchase.
