Rite Aid appoints business development executive
Camp Hill, Pa. Rite Aid Corp. announced Tuesday that Bryan Shirtliff, currently the company’s senior VP category management, has been named to the new position of senior VP business development.
Shirtliff will be charged with developing merchandising initiatives to support the company’s store segmentation strategy, which involves grouping together stores with similar characteristics and creating a unique business plan for each group.
His responsibilities also include developing new business opportunities for the company’s non-pharmacy business.
Tony Montini, currently executive VP and COO of the national advertising agency Marc USA, which has been Rite Aid’s agency of record since 1997, will join Rite Aid as senior VP category management. He will report to Martindale and join the company mid-February.
