Report: EBay, Facebook experience technical issues

San Jose and Menlo Park, Calif. – EBay and Facebook both reportedly experienced technical issues on Sept. 3. According to Fox Business, some EBay users were unable to gain entry to their accounts, while others reported their accounts had disappeared and their sales were no longer listed on the site.



In addition, Facebook experienced a widespread outage the afternoon of Sept. 3, but has since been brought fully back online. EBay is working to restore all accounts and said the problems occurred during scheduled server maintenance and only affected a small number of users.
