Real estate veteran appointed head of RHYS Commercial’s retail services division

Stamford, Ct. The Retail Services Division of RHYS Commercial will be headed by 18-year industry veteran Dominick Musilli, who has joined the full-service real estate advisory firm as executive VP and principal, it was announced by RHYS president and CEO Cory Gubner. He will also serve on the company’s senior management team.

Musilli was previously an executive managing director and partner at FirstService Real Estate Advisors.

Musilli, who will be in charge of all of the firm’s retail brokerage activities, worked early in his career as a regional real estate representative for McDonalds, and later, as a real estate manager for the Stop & Shop supermarket chain. Some his high-profile retail clients include The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co., Walgreen Co., Sears Holding Co., RadioShack and Sport Clips, among many others. 

Among many notable retail transactions, Musilli represented Walgreens in opening five new stores in southwestern Connecticut and RadioShack in numerous locations.  He also represented various owners in transactions involving Lucky Brand Jeans, lululemon athletica, Coach and many other retailers in key regional markets. 

A resident of Wilton, Ct., Musilli, 42, holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Business from the University of Connecticut. He is an active member of the Planning Committee of The International Council of Shopping Centers and a recipient of its CoStar Power Broker award.
