According to a report by Supermarket News, the grocer has terminated Dave Clark, COO and formerly the interim president, as well as Joan Miszak, senior VP organizational effectiveness. Both will stay on until June 30.
Michelle Cervantez, CMO, and Todd McHenry, chief legal counsel, will remain until the end of April, and Joel Barton, senior VP sales and merchandising, has already departed.
Michael Teel, president and CEO, said the cutbacks "have nothing to do with performance issues -- it's simply that we can't afford that kind of structure in today's competitive marketplace."
