RadioShack Names Exec VP

Fort Worth, Texas RadioShack has appointed Peter Whitsett to serve as executive VP, GMM.

Whitsett will be responsible for the development and implementation of all merchandising strategies. In this role he will lead the merchandising, product development and allocation functions.

Most recently Whitsett served as senior VP, chief merchant (Kmart retail) at Sears Holdings Corp.
