President of Shaw’s to Retire

Eden Prairie, Minn., Supervalu Inc. said Thursday that Carl Jablonski, president of the company's Shaw's stores in New England, will retire at the end of the month.

Jablonski served as Shaw's president for the past 18 months and has been with the company for 38 years.

Larry Wahlstrom, president of Supervalu's Jewel-Osco stores in Chicago, will replace Jablonski. Keith Nielsen, Jewel-Osco’s senior VP of operations, will succeed Wahlstrom.
