President Obama to visit Kroger store in Va.

Cincinnati A Kroger Co. grocery store will host a presidential town hall meeting this week.

President Barack Obama will discuss his healthcare plan Wednesday with nearly 100 Kroger employees in a Bristol, Va., store. He will go there from an earlier town hall at a Raleigh, N.C., high school as he tries to build public support for his proposals.

Kroger said it's the first official presidential visit in memory to a store in the grocery chain.
