President, CEO Leaves FreshDirect

New York City FreshDirect CEO and president Steve Michaelson has left the company. Previous to his post at FreshDirect, Michaelson served as senior VP of marketing and merchandising at Weis supermarkets. He has also served as the marketing VP at Wegman's.

A spokeswoman at FreshDirect told Chain Store Age that an interim president and CEO has not been named.
