Perkowitz+Ruth Architects Names Joseph Serruya to Director

Perkowitz+Ruth Architects has named Joseph Serruya director. Serruya, based in the Washington D.C. office of P+R Architects, assumes responsibilities of business development and senior-project oversight for the Eastern region.

Serruya joined P+R Architects in 1999 as a senior job captain. Since then he earned positions of increasing responsibility and most recently served as Associate, working side-by-side with the previous Director to manage office staff and oversee the Wal-Mart program in the Northeastern region.

Serruya possesses over 17 years of experience in planning, design, construction documentation, construction contract administration and project management. Throughout his career, he has successfully provided architectural services to a range of clients on numerous building and project types, including big-box retail, retail interiors, shopping centers, office-base buildings, and environmental and transportation facilities.

In 2005, Serruya’s efforts overseeing the Wal-Mart program led P+R Architects to be named ‘Consultant of the Year’ by Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
