Penney Names Bedding VP

Plano, Texas, J.C. Penney Co. has appointed Stephen Dinkins to the position of divisional VP and divisional merchandise manager for furniture and bedding. He will report to Jeff Allison, executive VP and general merchandise manager.

Prior to accepting this role, Dinkins was senior-bedding buyer at J.C. Penney. He succeeds Bob Price, who left the company in May after 32 years and now serves as a VP at Art Van Furniture.
