New CEO for Mrs. Fields’

Salt Lake City A former Starbucks Corp. executive will become the new head of Mrs. Fields' Original Cookies, the cookie chain said Tuesday.

Timothy Casey, 49, will become CEO and president of the company that franchises Mrs. Fields' Cookies and TCBY Frozen Yogurt Stores.

Previously, Casey spent eight years as a regional VP at Starbucks and a combined five years working at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Bakers Square restaurant chain.

Mrs. Fields, which has more than 1,200 locations around the world, emerged from bankruptcy protection in 2008.
