NCR hires general counsel exec

Duluth, Ga. NCR Corp. has hired Barnes & Noble general counsel for the same position.

NCR, which makes automated teller machines and retail self-checkouts, reported Monday that Jennifer Daniels is its new general counsel and corporate secretary.

Prior to Barnes & Noble, Daniels was with IBM for 16 years.

Her skills span all the dimensions of corporate law and governance, from IP and litigation to compliance and contracts, according to the company.
